How do you say thank you in Albanian?

Thank you in Albanian is "Faleminderit" (fah-leh-min-DEH-reet). You can add "shumë" (SHOO-muh, very) for thank you very much: "Faleminderit shumë".

How do you say hello in Albanian?

Hello in Albanian is "Përshëndetje" (per-shen-DET-ye) at any time of day. In the morning you can say "Mirëmëngjes" (mee-ruh-MENG-yes) and in the evening "Mirëmbrëma" (mee-ruhm-BRUH-ma).

Do you need to speak Albanian to travel in Albania?

Not at all. Many young people speak English or Italian, and in the tourist areas you will get by easily.
